The role will include the following responsibilities (but not limited to):
Negotiation of corporate contracts;Relationship building with key clients and developing new clients;Implement quality initiatives which add value to the business and maintain a position of leadership within the team;Ensure the greatest possible exposure of the hotel and its facilities to all potential and existing markets;Increase business from existing channels while creating new business development opportunities;Aid in the preparation of proposals and tenders to support the needs of the business;Implement quality initiatives which add value to the business and maintain a position of leadership within the team andUnderstand sales strategy and implement account tactics to achieve these strategies.Qualifications
The qualifications and attributes that are desired (but not limited to) are:
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills;Ability to nurture existing relationships and attain new ones;Working knowledge of the key intermediaries in the Conference & Events sector:Strong stakeholder management, both internally and externally;Exceptional understanding of consumer behavior and market trends andA hunter who thrives on building new connections with clients and uncovering new business opportunities.Additional Information
