Your Purpose
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and supporting strategic business initiatives. Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Identification:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company objectives. Develop and execute strategies to capture these opportunities and drive growth.
Proposal Development:
Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients. Communicate value propositions effectively and address client needs.
Activity Tracking:
Track and report on business development activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Ensure that business development efforts are aligned with company goals and deliver desired outcomes.
Cross-Functional Support:
Work cross-functionally to support business development goals and ensure the successful execution of initiatives. Collaborate with various departments to achieve business objectives and drive overall success.
What We're Looking For
Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field within transport, warehousing, or distribution.
Experience in contract negotiation and management.
Strong understanding of market research and strategic planning.
Valid Australian Drivers Licence essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development.
