The Business Development Executive identifies and pursues new growth opportunities, builds client relationships, and drives revenue by positioning the company as a preferred partner. They focus on strategic outreach and long-term client engagement to achieve sales goals and expand market presence.
Job Description
A Career that lets your passion shine: Actively target and secure new business opportunities across all market segments Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to position Sofitel as the preferred venue Consistently achieve or exceed set KPIs and sales targets Proactively generate and qualify leads for conversion Maximize revenue by showcasing exceptional selling abilities and understanding client needs Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the Hotel's goals are met Represent Sofitel Gold Coast at key industry events and networking to enhance brand visibility and drive business Qualifications
What you will bring to the role: A luxury attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a high EQ are essential to succeed in this competitive industry You are a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record in outbound sales and business development Deep understanding of market segments relevant to luxury hotels, including corporate, events, meetings, and group sales Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with excellent relationship management Experience with outbound sales, including face-to-face meetings, networking, and trade events Willingness to work varying hours and travel within the region for client meetings, field sales calls and events Knowledge and ability to operate Opera Cloud Software and various CRM systems Additional Information
