About the Role As a senior member of our Sales team, you will lead the charge in identifying bespoke solutions for national customers in both B2B and B2C environments.
You will be part of a collaborative team that values camaraderie and seamless teamwork.
Your role will encompass all aspects of business development at a strategic customer level.
This includes close collaboration with various departments such as Pricing, Operations, Information Technology, and Customer Experience to design best-in-class solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities Focus on major revenue opportunities by targeting and acquiring new clients in the refrigeration sector.
Ensure long-term success by establishing and maintaining robust customer relationship management practices.
Present compelling proposals to potential customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our solutions.
Build strong connections with key contacts to uncover cross-selling opportunities and expand our market reach.
Conduct discovery sessions with senior executives to understand their business challenges, goals, and requirements, and tailor solutions accordingly.
Leverage TGE's products and services to develop customised, scalable solutions that address customer needs and drive business growth.
About You You are a high-performing Business Development Executive with a proven track record in logistics and refrigeration transport sales.
You excel in both B2B and B2C environments, understanding market dynamics and customer needs.
Your exceptional negotiation skills and ability to engage C-suite executives set you apart.
You communicate ideas clearly and persuasively, and your strategic thinking drives innovative solutions and long-term growth.
You value collaboration, working seamlessly with various departments to design top-tier solutions.
Your resilience, adaptability, and customer-centric approach ensure you consistently meet targets and build strong client relationships.
Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated success in business development and sales within the transport and logistics sector, showing a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
Deep understanding of both B2B and B2C environments, including market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Exceptional skills in negotiation and contract management, with a proven ability to secure favourable terms and manage complex agreements.
Ability to effectively engage with and influence C-suite executives, fostering strong relationships and driving strategic initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions and long-term business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
