Travello is the most exciting and fastest-growing travel company in Australia.We're currently in an exciting growth phase, so we're looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our Digital Sales team based in Brisbane.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We're seeking motivated, outgoing and driven candidates who are looking to kick-start their tourism career with one of the world's most innovative travel tech companies.As a Business Development Executive in our Digital Sales team, you will be responsible for generating new sales from our vast database of customers, inspiring them to book travel experiences across Australia, New Zealand, and many other exotic locations!Utilising phones, emails, and social media, you will be a key part of our Digital growth strategy, as we look to grow to the number 1 digital travel platform in the youth tourism market.You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of personal motivation and positivity. You will be spearheading our digital growth strategy across the Travello/Backpacker Deals brands.OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Leading outbound sales, utilising phone calls, emails, and social media to grow our digital business.Generating new sales opportunities for our Tours, Campervans, and Partners team.Working closely with our Product Leaders to generate wider traction across these respective business areas.Supporting Head of Sales with ad hoc tasks.WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:A positive attitude, are highly motivated and driven to succeed.A genuine passion for all things travel with experience in the Travel & Tourism Industry a bonus.Experience in outbound phone or face-to-face travel sales (desired).A strong B2C sales background.Strong written & verbal communication skills (as you will be dealing with customers from all corners of the globe).A professional phone manner.Sales experience and a strong ability to work to sales targets.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?Extensive training & support will be provided to set you up for success.Competitive base salary (tbc + super) & uncapped bonus structure.Monday-Friday 9-5.Minimal after-sales admin work so you can concentrate on "just sales".Access to exclusive discounts on day tours & multi-day tours and more.Progression opportunities after a period of success within the role.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplementary Pay:Weekly bonusWork Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In person
