Business Development Executive / Apprentice Field Officer

Who We Are Electro Careers and Apprenticeships is a Group Training Organisation (GTO) established by the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) of South Australia / Northern Territory. Electro CA is dedicated to the electrotechnology industry and is committed to providing the right people to fulfil the skills needs of today and for the future. Electro CA employ apprentices and trainees in electrical, data and communications, refrigeration and air conditioning, and business administration and places them in industry with host employers for their on-the-job training.
The Opportunity Due to continued growth, Electro CA is seeking a highly motivated and engaging individual to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive business development initiatives to secure professional partnerships, while also supporting apprentices and improving retention and completion rates.
The Role As a Business Development Executive, your primary responsibility will be to develop client relations and spearhead initiatives that grow Electro CA's presence. You will:
Lead business development efforts to secure partnerships that drive growthAchieve performance targets related to apprentice commencementsFoster long-lasting relationships with external partners, ensuring professional, proactive communicationFacilitate the recruitment of new apprenticesProvide coaching, mentoring, and pastoral care to ensure apprentices thrive during their training We are looking for someone who has an excellent work ethic, is motivated and driven and can work autonomously as well as within a small team. Great interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships with co-workers, apprentices, trainees and host employers.
Previous experience in electrical industry, Group Training and electrotechnology trade qualification is beneficial but not essential.
