What you will be doing In this newly created role, you will play a critical part in our strategic growth ambitions. This is a unique role to be split between approximately 40% Business Development and 60% Concept Design. You will forge strong relationships with OEM customers by becoming a trusted partner in their product development pipeline. This highly customer-facing role involves close collaboration with Sales and Business Development team members, supported by our established Product Management and Product Development teams to ensure new customised solutions are delivered to specification and on time.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Build and nurture relationships with OEM customers, especially with their technical and new product development teams.Provide high-level product support ensuring seamless integration into OEM product development processes.Develop concepts for customised OEM solutions.Work closely with OEM customers and internal cross-functional teams to prototype, design, validate, and deliver concepts to market on time.Collaborate with Product Management and OEM customers on product roadmaps to ensure our product platforms remain current for future applications and configurations.Ensure project deliverables are captured via our established new product development process.Provide quick technical support, including CAD modelling, to fit our solutions into OEM products.Drive business growth through strategic partnerships.About you We seek an individual ready and excited to take on the challenge of forging a new role that provides razor-sharp customer focus in developing a fantastic product portfolio and iconic brands. Key requirements: Background in mechanical or product design engineering, must have experience in SolidWorks.Must have demonstrated customer solving abilities.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.Team player ready to join in our established development process and innovative culture.Why work with us?
