As the Business Development Director , you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our growth strategy across regions, driving significant revenue growth, and expanding our footprint in target markets. You will work closely with C-suite executives and key decision-makers from state government agencies to large enterprises, demonstrating how our SaaS platform can revolutionize their procurement and tender management processes.
Some of the key activities of this role include: Full-cycle strategic business development: Take ownership of identifying new business opportunities and manage existing accounts in retention strategies, driving growth from initial engagement through to deal closure, focusing on large-scale enterprise government, PPP, corporate and advisor-based contracts.
Oversee key account management, handle new & existing project contracts, resolve escalated issues, and identify potential expansion opportunities with high-value clients.
Lead the development and execution of strategic GTM plans in partnership with marketing, sales, and customer product teams to drive brand awareness and market penetration.
Oversee all sales and business development activities through Salesforce and other CRM tools, ensuring a strong pipeline and accurate forecasting of opportunities.
Embody the company's vision and values while attending conferences, showcasing not only the products and services but also the organizational culture and mission.
Collaborate with leadership across sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive quarterly objectives and adapt strategies based on market feedback and company goals.
We'd love to hear from you if you: have extensive experience in B2B business development or sales leadership roles (preferably in tech, SaaS, or procurement management), with experience selling into government, large enterprises, or consulting firms.
have a proven record of driving strategic growth, successfully managing complex sales cycles, closing high-value deals, and building long-term client partnerships.
demonstrate success in managing complex sales to government agencies, large enterprises, and/or ASX 200 companies, with a deep understanding of procurement processes.
possess strong strategic acumen with the ability to assess market opportunities, navigate industry challenges, and provide valuable insights that drive business growth.
utilize social selling and digital marketing strategies to enhance lead generation and brand engagement across multiple channels.
