The Business Development Consultant, ANZ will significantly influence and increase the sales pipeline for AGS' Workforce Solutions. This position works closely with the regional Business Development Teams to create a targeted strategy for outreach to prospective clients for introductory meetings.
The main focus of this role is to engage with executives and decision-makers through multiple networking channels, build strategic messaging that aligns with prospective clients, and qualify leads for new business opportunities.
This role is measured by booking prospective meetings, outbound activity, and generating opportunities associated with a new client.
Responsibilities: Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects via phone, email, and social media channels Identify innovative ways to connect with and qualify prospects within regional target accounts Schedule initial discovery meetings to identify the customer's needs Determine the prospect's use and interest in MSP, RPO, Direct Sourcing, and Procurement Solutions. Partner with the Lead Management Team to identify key contacts to move beyond the gatekeeper within the organization. Align with strategic partners to uncover new targets including Operating Companies, Vendor Management Systems, and Staffing Suppliers. Establish robust professional networks through LinkedIn and other channels Proactively research and document critical industry and client information Attend Conferences as needed to drive relationship-building and engagement with potential clients Develop and maintain detailed activity reporting through Salesforce documentation of all sales-related activity. Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn to share company posts/activities/white papers/ podcasts. Qualifications 1 to 3 years plus of experience within a business development or sales driven environment. However, we are open to fresh graduates looking to break into the world of workforce solution selling, who comes with a growth mindset, goal oriented and resilient – you are highly encouraged to apply. Knowledge of MSP/Contingent, RPO, Outsourcing, or Staffing/Agency Industries would be ideal, but not necessary. Proven success in a business development or sales capacity in either inside or outside sales, such as Inside Sales Representative, Lead Generation, Tele-marketing, Sales Enablement, Business Development at a Associate or Consultant level, or someone who comes from the recruitment industry, looking to break into workforce solution selling. Good business acumen, with strong relationship-building and collaboration skills. Excellent written communication and verbal communication, with high attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to problem solve, influence, and solution. Ideally, someone who wants to grow into this role, and make an impact. Microsoft office suite experience and relatable technology experience, for everyday tasks.
