Job DescriptionAbout the Role Maxima is seeking a Business Development and Community Engagement Consultant to join our Launceston team. This is a Fixed Term, Full-Time role based at our Launceston site with travel required across the region.
In this position, you'll be responsible for fostering and managing essential community partnerships and promoting our services. Your proactive mindset and dedication will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve long-term success and in shaping the future of our business within the community.
You'll need to be adept at working independently while also collaborating effectively with the team to meet overall KPIs and targets. If you're a driven, self-motivated professional who is passionate about making a difference, we would be excited to hear from you.
Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Responsibilities: Building and maintaining strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities within the community to enhance the reach and impact of Maxima's services.Promote Maxima's suite of services to achieve significant growth in caseloads.Innovate and collaborate with community groups to identify opportunities that achieve positive outcomes for the community by way of establishing local projects & initiatives.Attendance at public events, expos & forums to promote Maxima's service offerings.Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand our customer and business base and strengthen business development efforts.Achieve and exceed performance targets related to the registration, placement, and retention of customers in sustainable employment.Foster and maintain a positive and harmonious work environment in alignment with Maxima's ethos and objectives.Position Maxima as a local leader in both community engagement and business development, striving to be the best in class within our sector.You will be… Interested in a networking role that aims to support people from vulnerable groups, including those living with a disability.Passionate, motivated, and energetic.Inspirational, goal-oriented, and competitive.Creative, sensible, and solutions-focused.To succeed in this role, you will have… Ideally, you will hold a qualification in Community Services, Disability, Management or Marketing and/or significant experience in the delivery of services to people with barriers to entering employment (desirable).Experience in delivering high levels of customer service in a complex stakeholder environment.Strong networks in the community and/or employment services sectors and an ability to engage with the local community.Demonstrated experience in marketing/sales.Ability to achieve quality outcomes in line with KPIs.A current driver's licence, a national police check, and relevant State/Territory working with children check, or be willing to obtain.At Maxima, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
