We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Development Assistant to support our business development efforts across Australia.
This role will involve assisting in franchise expansion, identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with franchise partners, and ensuring the continued growth of business within the Australian market.As the Business Development Assistant, you will work closely with the Business Development Manager to drive key strategic initiatives, support franchise recruitment, and manage key relationships to ensure the success of our franchise network.
To manage 3 dessert brands under the company - Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart, PAFU & KURIMU.Key Responsibilities:Franchise Development: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and recruiting new franchise partners.
Conduct market research to identify potential areas for expansion and growth.Franchise Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to existing franchise partners, ensuring they adhere to brand standards and are provided with the tools they need to succeed.Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to understand customer trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for brand growth in Australia.Sales & Business Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of business strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and improve overall performance across the franchise network.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise partners, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.Brand Development: Support in the creation of marketing materials and local campaigns to strengthen brand presence in various regions.Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, franchise growth, and market insights, ensuring timely communication to senior management.Skills & Experience:Previous experience in business development, franchise management, or a related field, preferably within the food and beverage industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.A passion for food, business development, and the franchise model.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving results.Desirable Qualifications:Previous experience with franchise operations and expansion.Knowledge of the Australian food and beverage market.Understanding of key performance metrics for franchises and retail operations.Project Management on store set up.Must be fluent in both spoken and written English.If you are passionate about business development, have a keen interest in the food and beverage industry, and are excited about working with a global franchise brand, we want to hear from you!How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and why you're the perfect fit for this role.
