This is a hands-on role that will involve both strategic planning and tactical execution, with a focus on developing strong relationships with clients in the mining sector.Key Responsibilities:Build Client Relationships: Identify and engage potential clients in the mining industry, developing a strong client base from scratch.
Manage end-to-end business development efforts, including prospecting, pitching, and closing contracts.Revenue Growth: Develop and execute a business development strategy aimed at securing new contracts, increasing revenue, and positioning the company as a key player in mining labour hire.Client Management: Build and maintain long-term client relationships by providing exceptional service and proactively addressing any issues or changes in client needs.Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all operational activities comply with mining industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop quality control measures to meet client expectations.Team Development: Recruit, manage, and mentor an operations team as the business grows, fostering a high-performing culture and a commitment to safety and quality.Financial Management: Oversee budgeting and cost control measures for business operations.
