Business Coordinator

Our client is a global team of humanitarian and migration specialists, currently operating in more than twenty countries, supporting people to rebuild their lives within their communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their Australian team located in the Australian Capital Territory and to be part of their growing global organisation.

As the Business Coordinator, your role will be as your title suggests, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of our newest office based in Canberra including being the key point of contact between our finance team, payroll team and government officials.

How will you contribute?

Coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting for the Australian operation.
Work closely with the finance team to manage financial expenditure.
Be the key contact for banking organisations to support the case management team with money transfers and maintaining accurate records.
Collate the information required for payroll to facilitate the payment of salaries.
Track site-based continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Support the Contract Manager in the coordination of the necessary approval papers to support business growth and renewals as required.
Assist the finance team with the preparation of annual budgets and customer forecasts.
Manage the Canberra office including liaising with the landlord, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and ensuring local work health and safety policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in the ACT.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be a key member of our growing local team.
You will be required to obtain and maintain the following pre-employment checks: National Criminal History Check Working with Children Check Working with Vulnerable People Check You will have the opportunity to be a part of improving the economic and social situation of individuals, enabling them to live dignified lives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
