Business Coordination Officer
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of PermanencyDetails: The ACT Emergency Services Agency is seeking a highly talented, detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as the Business Coordination Officer across the portfolio areas of:
CorporateCapabilityCollaboration, Community Engagement and Intelligence SupportReporting to the Executive Officer, the Business Coordination Officer will be responsible for managing workflow of incoming and outgoing information and requests to the Executive Office's in relation to finance, human resources and other government business such as Cabinet, Assembly and Ministerial. The Business Coordination Officer will provide consistent and timely responses and manage systems to track and report on work across the portfolios to support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. You will work closely with the ESA Ministerial Services Unit to coordinate, track and quality assure documents including Cabinet, Assembly, Ministerial and Executive briefings, Freedom of Information requests and general correspondence.
A further component of this role is ensuring financial management for each of the Assistant Commissioners portfolios such as processing invoices, reimbursement claims, and acquittals are completed correctly and on time.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Driver's licence Class C is desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
