The RoleAs a Business Consultant, you'll implement our unique ERP software, 'Miles'. Unlike standard packages like SAP or Microsoft Dynamics, 'Miles' is our own developed ERP package, giving you the opportunity to shape, change, and improve the product. 'Miles' is an ERP software specifically designed for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. It provides an end-to-end solution encompassing front-, mid-, and back-office functions, extensively customizable to meet customer needs through configuration.
You'll participate in the implementation process from start to finish, maintaining close contact with our customers. As a Business Consultant, you'll act as an advisor, offering best practices, process improvements, and solutions.
This means you will:
Participate in requirements gathering workshops.Analyze requirements and their impact.Design both functional and technical solutions based on these requirements.Negotiate with customers about special requests, ensuring product consistency and strategy.Configure the functional solution and/or manage the configuration.You'll be part of a multidisciplinary project team. At Sofico, every team works in an agile way, including scrum and daily stand-ups. You'll receive support from colleagues on more technical aspects like data migration, testing, and development.
The Right Fit for the RoleCommunication skills are essential, both with customers and within your team. You should be comfortable moderating workshops and presenting solutions or finished modules to the customer.
Your analytical mindset enables you to translate business requirements into system needs and devise solutions. You should also be interested in understanding and documenting different business processes.
What else is expected:
2-5 years' experience with ERP implementations.Fluency in English, as we are an international company.Knowledge or interest in loan, leasing, or mobility is a plus, but we also provide extensive onboarding to get you up to speed.Willingness to travel.This position, based in Sydney, offers a hybrid work model: three days in-office and two days remote.
