About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business & Commercial Key Accounts and Renewable Leader to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria.
Reporting to the Key Accounts and Partner Leader, this role will see you lead an experienced team of four Key Account Managers. This team is responsible for some of our largest Business & Commercial customers, providing exceptional service across the entire customer life cycle. You will lead the clean energy transformation by offering sustainable and renewable energy solutions, helping customers lower their energy usage and move towards a cleaner energy future.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Partnering with key customers to understand their renewable energy needs and build a pipeline of customers requiring renewable energy products. Sales and Negotiation: Respond to renewable energy tenders, negotiate sales and contracts, and develop bespoke solutions to meet customer needs. Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing Key Accounts team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and customer-centricity. Market Intelligence: Provide key market insights on competitor offers and work closely with internal teams to refine our offerings. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various internal teams, including Trading & Transition, Legal, and Operations, to drive the overall direction of products and ensure the success of EnergyAustralia. About You This role will suit a tenacious leader with significant industry knowledge in the retail space, with the ability to drive outcomes and deliver impressive results.
You will bring:
Proven account management leader, with experience in developing, launching, and selling renewable energy products within the energy industry. Strong understanding of the energy industry, including wholesale electricity markets, renewable products, and retail customer services. Experience in managing a team of professionals in a complex organizational environment. Excellent people skills with the ability to resolve delivery blockers and align key stakeholders. Relevant technical qualifications in engineering, technology, business, or economics with 5+ years of experience.
