Business Banking Manager RoleIn this Business Banking Manager role, reporting to the Professional Services Banking Executive, you will: Build and apply industry specific specialist banking knowledge.Assess economic value and risk potential of new business.Educate customers about their business options and provide sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth.Proactively leverage networks of internal and external contacts to help identify new referral opportunities.Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in local markets.Talk with customers about their proposed annual business plans.Prepare and submit customer lending proposals with the support of our associate team.Work with internal specialists to best serve your customers.QualificationsTo be considered for this role, ideally you will bring: Proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.Boundless enthusiasm & energy to deliver for customers, influencing colleagues across the delivery value chain to demonstrate customer obsession.Strong experience within business banking and/or credit assessment with demonstrated ability to drive and execute client banking solutions.Experience in supporting customers in industries with timely transactional banking requirements.Previous banking experience within at least two of the following industries: Insurance Broking, Legal Services, Insolvency, Financial Planning, Accounting & Finance Broking is highly advantageous.Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.Understanding of working capital cycles and transactional banking requirements of Professional Services Industries.A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.A strong passion for customer service and driving customer advocacy, able to positively leverage relationships and communicate with influence to drive outcomes.Relevant degree, post-graduate professional qualification or practical professional services industry experience is desired, not required.Application ProcessWe respectfully ask candidates to hold any questions for the phone interview, where we'll discuss the role in detail and answer any questions.
