What you'll do:

As a Business Banker, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building sustainable long-term client relationships and growing critical customer portfolios. You will provide customers with effective, value-added solutions whilst managing potential risks. Your role will also involve collaborating with various teams within the Business Unit and across the wider bank to support your customers' growth and ongoing success. Furthermore, you will be expected to develop a network of contacts and assist in achieving overall business strategies of sourcing new business, maximizing existing business, and increasing effectiveness.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Banker role will bring proven experience in relationship management, business development, portfolio, or account management. While previous experience in banking or finance would be beneficial, it is not essential. What's more important is your ability to work independently as well as part of a team, along with your proven analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong networking skills are also crucial for enhancing customer relationships and growing portfolios. Lastly, excellent communication and relationship-building skills are key for success in this role.

Proven experience in relationship management, business development, portfolio, and/or account management Previous experience in banking/financial/accounting would be beneficial but not essential Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Proven analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Strong networking skills to enhance customer relationships and grow portfolios Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
