Business Architect

We are currently working with one of Australia's iconic financial services organisations who are embarking on a new Financial Platform Transformation Program. They are looking for an Enterprise/Business Architect with previous experience successfully driving business outcomes. The initial contract will be 6 months with the opportunity to extend.
In this role, you would be integral to supporting the alignment across the corporate platforms, running the practice, managing architectural governance, managing stop takes on roadmaps, and stepping in on large architectural decisions. Additionally, they are looking to move their current SAP ECC6 platform to their cloud-based SAP Platform, S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
Enable teams to activate end-to-end digital experiences for customers, colleagues, and partners that are more secure, robust, and scalable than ever before, and deliver them with lightning speed.
Bring thought leadership in your field of expertise to support the planning and execution of Technology's strategic priorities, contemporary operating model, and business plan.
Identify, report, and resolve gaps that may exist in the Application Portfolio Model (APM) and Technology Portfolio Model (TPM) and ensure any deviations are reviewed and undergo governance as per defined processes.
Support the Corporate Platform Architecture Council and Governance Framework to maintain standards and controls.
Essential Skills and Experience
Experienced in driving outcomes as a Business Architect on large transformation programs.
Functional experience steering architecture for finance transformations (ideally SAP) with strong collaboration and time management skills.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated experience working within the Financial Services (specifically Insurance).
