We are creating the next generation of retail supply chain technology with be a focus across our warehouse management, transport/logistics, inventory optimisation, and demand and forecasting systems.
As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to engage with a wide range of stakeholders in both business and IT to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will contribute to IT strategy, innovation, and the BA practice while upholding Kmart's group values. Your expertise in requirement elicitation and analysis will be crucial for driving effective solutions.
What you'll be doing? Analyse, define, and document requirements for systems enhancements, process improvements, and new capability implementations. Utilise requirement elicitation techniques such as discovery workshops, brainstorming sessions, and prototyping. Conduct various analyses, including AS-IS, TO-BE, GAP analysis, feasibility studies, opportunity assessments, and cost-benefit analyses. Collaborate with the BA Lead in Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation to ensure designs meet business requirements. Participate in triage meetings, support test case development, and assist during go-live phases. Employ Agile and Waterfall software delivery methods to drive project success. Utilise documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence, as well as presentation and collaboration tools like Miro, Draw.io, Visio, and MS PowerPoint. To be successful in the role you'll have: At least 3 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on requirement elicitation and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with process reengineering, particularly in Warehouse Management, Merchandising, or Supply Chain is an advantage. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
