There's an exciting opportunity for you to join the Finance Branch in the Department of Health as the Business Analyst! You will will actively undertake business analysis to provide information, advice and support on increasing productivity/revenue optimisation through the development and reengineering of business processes.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for the development of reporting and performance measures across the Revenue team to demonstrate the provision of efficient and effective revenue services, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
What we are looking for: Ability to develop a working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures as well as demonstrated expertise in the use of business intelligence software and information reporting systems used for the extraction, manipulation and professional presentation and dissemination of reports from complex systems.Demonstrated ability to set priorities, allocate and monitor workloads to ensure the achievement of data integrity in accordance with system requirements and accounting standards.Demonstrated high level of conceptual, analytical, and innovative skills.Demonstrated high level written and oral interpersonal, communication, consultation, and negotiation skills, including proven ability to prepare and present reports.Demonstrated ability to positively engage, build and nurture productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing challenges with integrity, diplomacy, tact, and a solutions-orientated approach within a multi-disciplinary environment.Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity .
