Business Analyst, Service Integrity & Resolution Job Description Overview

The purpose of the role is to provide high levels of technical expertise to investigate, analyze and resolve detailed and complex insurance inquiries to ensure a superior client experience. This includes analysis on key insurance products, business requirements, product development through migrations and enhancements.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Assist and investigate data related to insurance inquiries. Design, develop, and execute plans to maintain product quality per Fund business rules and insurance product designs. Actively seek and implement process improvement opportunities. Participate in PVT testing for assigned releases and patches. Collaborate on problem-solving efforts and maintain positive group dynamics. Work with Funds and auditors to deliver components of assigned audits. Complete tasks from the lead analyst to detect and resolve complex data/product issues. Collaborate with IT resources to provide cost-effective solutions that meet client needs. Ensure all insurance inquiries are managed according to SLAs and Fund insurance business rules. Ensure compliance with legislative, financial, policy, and quality requirements, including OH&S issues. Experience & Personal Attributes Ability to articulate issues surrounding business, operational and technical risk management. Strong Superannuation industry knowledge preferably in insurance. Proven experience in business analysis within the finance sector. Past experience and confidence in using data analytical tools. Proven ability in taking strong ownership of deliverables and work with a team of analysts to deliver reports that highlight issues. Developed organization and planning skills with the ability to deal with demanding workloads prioritizing and meeting strict deadlines.
