Let's talk about this role The role is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract position with a focus on supporting and enhancing nib's Risk Information system (Protecht).
As the Business Analyst, you will be tasked with performing the analysis of business needs, taking responsibility for capturing requirements for the identification, scoping and delivery of initiatives that will enhance user experience and support improved risk management practices related to Protecht.
To achieve this, you will work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders across the risk function, health insurance divisions and the broader nib Group to: Identify and define business problems and opportunities.
Ensure requirements are clearly documented and validated.
Develop and implement solutions that make business processes and the risk system more efficient and effective.
Work with key stakeholders including risk SMEs, business stakeholders, project teams, technology teams and Protecht vendor to ensure both ongoing system administration tasks and the pipeline of change management is optimally prioritised and managed.
Let's talk about you To excel in this role, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in business analysis and continuous improvement methodologies, project management and delivery processes.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and user needs.
Whilst experience working with GRC applications, risk data, systems and reporting is not mandated, it will be highly regarded in the application process.
Furthermore, we're looking for: Experienced in business transformation across broad array of technical and operational environments Commercially minded, experience preparing business cases and strong financial skills Understanding of process & data analysis and data interpretation Able to manage own time, allocate and revise priorities in consultation with internal business & external stakeholders Experience working with and managing vendor relationships Ability to work in a fast-paced agile collaborative team environment with competing demands At nib, we recognise that some people may only apply when their education, skills and/or experiences are identical to what an employer is looking for in a candidate.
