Business Analyst/Project Specialist

We are currently working with NSW key departments, who are undergoing a Data Centre upgrade and Hardware Migration.
They require a Business Analyst/Project Specialist for an initial 12 month contract with an opportunity for it to extend further.
In this role, you would be integral to the end-to-end process from gathering requirements to the successful selection of a vendor and the subsequent migration to new hardware.
Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering:

Collaborate with multiple internal teams to gather comprehensive organizational business requirements for the Data Centre Refresh Program.
Scoping and Business Case Development:

Conduct detailed scoping of work and prepare a business case that outlines the requirements and objectives of the Data Centre project.
Process Mapping:

Develop and document process maps that clearly define the current and future state processes.
Documentation and Organization:

Maintain excellent documentation throughout the project, ensuring all materials are well-organized and accessible.
Stakeholder Communication:

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organization.
Vendor Selection:

Lead the go-to-market process, evaluate potential vendors, and select the one that best fits the organization's requirements.
Hardware Migration Planning:

Develop and execute a detailed plan for the migration to new equipment within the Data Centre.

Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.
Strong scoping and business case development skills.
Proficiency in process mapping and documentation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in vendor selection and contract negotiation.
