About the RoleReporting to the Manager: Programs and Academic Policy, this position is responsible for the systems and processes for the management of program and course approval, program and course configuration, academic advisement, and related academic administration processes, and provides expert advice to the University community on academic policies and procedures and in relation to program and course approval. The position develops and reviews processes and procedures specifically focused to provide continuous process and data integrity improvement strategies whilst ensuring software and interface releases and upgrades are tested and implemented efficiently and changes clearly communicated to the end users.About UniSA The University of South Australia is Australia's University of Enterprise. It is responsible for the development and maintenance of policy, information systems and procedural frameworks. The Unit coordinates and provides quality assurance for several university functions including student admissions, enrolments, examinations, graduations, student finance and scholarships. Essential Skills and ExperienceTertiary qualifications or equivalent skills and knowledge at an appropriate level and a demonstrated commitment to the further development and enhancement of knowledge and skills through active membership of relevant professional associations and other meansDemonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to work with technical, academic, and administrative staff at all levels of the organisationDemonstrated ability to manage complex information systems and processes through the use of highly developed analytical and information management skills, a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to troubleshoot system related problems using available tools such as database reporting tools and Microsoft software applicationsDemonstrated oral and written communication skills including experience in developing and providing trainingWell-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability to be innovative and creative in providing advice and generating solutions Benefits Getting a great job working with the best is just the start.
