You will be a part of the Strategic Financial Projects team tasked to review, uplift, and implement financial management capabilities and processes to improve financial governance and fiscal discipline within the QPS.
As part of this role, you'll also collaborate with internal stakeholders to support process improvements for key QPS projects and initiatives.
You will map 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' processes using BPMN and identify improvements by undertaking gap analysis of current and future-state processes to identify shortcomings, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
The core capability requirements for this role are:
Capture and analyse 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business process models using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) to depict a detailed sequence of business activities and information flows needed to complete business processes.
Identify improvements and undertake gap analysis of current and future-state processes in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to identify shortcomings, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop business requirements specifications, ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the financial year lifecycle to ensure operational processes align with the organisation's strategic goals.
Maintain a register of business process stakeholders to support the project manager in delivering the process optimisation strategy.
Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing professional guidance and support.
Role Requirements:
Qualification:
A tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Technical/Operational/Educational experience:
Extensive experience in business process management and BPMN would be highly regarded.
Other:
Experience working with finance or in a financial environment would be highly regarded.
