About your new job
Reporting to the Management Accounting Manager, this role will provide commercial insight and financial expertise supporting the growth and strategy of this department of the NSW government.
Some of the key responsibilities assigned to this role include:
Analyse and report on business performancePrepare business cases and financial models as requiredPartner with other Finance business partners through analytical support and provide recommendationsProvide advice and recommendations into the development of business systems and frameworksProvide analysis and support of priority projectsExtract, manipulate, and collate data to be presented in a visual formatContribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
About You!
The successful candidate will closely resemble the following profile:
Years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or modelling rolesCPA/CA QualifiedExpert with MS Excel (Advanced level) with experience in building and developing financial models and dashboardsExperience with BI and visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau/Qlikview)Highly motivated individual who can think autonomously and challenge the status quo, with a passion for work and ability to engage with stakeholders from various business areas
