The Business Analyst is a business facing role supporting the Manager Business Analysis in partnering with and providing high level financial support to business unit managers. The role works proactively to provide financial support ensuring the operational effectiveness and excellence of the assigned business areas.
The position is an integral member of, and effective liaison between the business unit and the Finance Team. The position also performs ad hoc business analysis, transactional and project work as directed.

Key Responsibilities/skills:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance and currently undertaking CA/CPA qualification.Sound sense of financial management practices, forecasting, budgetary principles and business planning processes.Ability to work within and across different organisational cultures whilst delivering successful business outcomes.Strong excel and analytical skills and experience of or aptitude for a broad range of issues, incorporating complex problem solving and financial modelling. Oracle knowledge would be advantageous.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on business and financial reporting and presenting to different audiences. Sound interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills to maintain relationships and provide appropriate guidance & support across the organisation on financial matters.Commitment to providing quality customer service and ensuring client satisfaction and ability to deliver work to tight deadlines.
