About The Role:
Are you ready to elevate your leadership skills? Compare the Market is looking for a talented Business Analyst Manager to join our Delivery & Enablement team. In this role, you will be a key driver of business analysis excellence across the organisation, leading a dedicated team of Business Analysts. Reporting to the Head of Planning & Delivery, you'll provide guidance and support in gathering, validating, and documenting complex business requirements, while ensuring alignment with our broader business objectives.
As the Business Analyst Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will oversee the development and execution of the BA practice strategy, implementing advanced business analysis techniques and methodologies. This is an exciting opportunity to not only manage a high-performing team but to shape Compare the Market's vision and goals in the business analysis space, ensuring the highest standards of quality and professionalism are upheld across all projects.
What You'll Do:
Shape the direction of Compare the Market's business analysis practice, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and the company's commitment to business excellence.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Business Analysts, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and providing career development guidance to help them thrive.
Develop, maintain, and manage a suite of business analysis artefacts for use across projects and initiatives.
Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to understand their needs and expectations effectively.
Ensure the quality of all processes, activities, and outputs produced by the Business Analysis team.
Develop and guide business analysis strategies and approaches for various projects and initiatives.
Manage and monitor the demand and allocation of Business Analyst resources across the project portfolio, identifying potential resourcing constraints and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Compare the Market's project delivery framework.
Address business analysis escalations and queries raised by Business Analysts, project teams, and stakeholders, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
What You'll Bring:
Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications, such as CBAP, would be highly regarded.
Extensive expertise in business analysis processes and activities, including workshop facilitation, requirements elicitation, documentation, traceability, and business process mapping.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and various software development processes.
Experience working with different project delivery methodologies, including agile, waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and guiding teams to success.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with business analysis tools and standards such as BPMN, Jira, Azure DevOps, Lucidchart, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships across the organisation.
