About the role:
Be a part of the evolution of HSE @ Origin. We have 2 key strategic Origin-wide priorities that will be delivered as part of a program of work, including:
Reimaging, re-engineering and streamlining HSE processes across all BU's Consolidating and modernising HSE & RAC systems (think OCIS, Stature and more) These priorities are critical to enable us to deliver on our ambitions of becoming a business partner of choice, providing low cost but high-quality processes, services, systems, and tools to support Origin and our operating business units to deliver on their strategic priorities and delivering industry leading HSE performance.
The newly formed project team will initially be responsible for establishing the team and foundations to deliver on these priorities and importantly building the business case to take forward to the Origin Investment Committee (OIC). Subject to approval, this team will then be responsible for the development and implementation of these initiatives.
As a Business Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, while providing expertise in business process mapping. This role will work towards ensuring that solutions align with business objectives, driving efficiency and innovation within Origin.
Key responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Collecting and prioritising business requirements from various stakeholders. Data Analysis: Interpreting and simplifying business requirements for easy analysis by top management. Solution Design: Creating solutions based on identified requirements and proposing changes to achieve long-term business goals. Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding. Process Improvement: Analysing and modelling business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. What will you bring?
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for identifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, and recommending the best course of action. Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication for interacting with stakeholders, documenting requirements, and presenting findings. Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development methodologies, database management, and business process modelling. Origin - Where good change happens
