Sandvik Ground Support Division also provides galvanising and other related services to the mining, civil, marine, commercial, and industrial industries.About the RoleBased at either our Heatherbrae, NSW, Kewdale, WA, OR Narangba QLD branch and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Business Analyst will prepare detailed analyses of production performance, efficiency reports, financial modelling, and cost-benefit analyses to determine appropriate business strategies and to support informed decision making based on these analyses. The Business Analyst will run a dedicated reporting system (Power BI) for business performance reporting and act as a direct support to the CFO for special inquiries and projects.Review financial data to develop reports, analyses, and recommendations for DSI Executive, Senior Managers, sales department, and operations.Undertake financial project analysis for the operations requirements of the business.Identify key data in order to make recommendations on continuous improvement and contribute to successful organisational outcomes.Support business integration projects.Work with finance team to establish key internal reporting including actuals, budgets, and forecasts for consideration by DSI Executive and Senior Management teams.Develop metrics, performance reporting, and visualisations to measure the performance of DSI across the business to assist in and provide support to current and future planning by DSI teams.Champion the integration of improvements to DSI's core analytical tools to meet stakeholder requirements.About YouTo be considered for this opportunity, you should possess a tertiary qualification in finance, economics, or an equivalent field, or have equivalent experience. Essential attributes include previous experience in a similar role within a complex and challenging environment, as well as a high level of computer literacy with a sound knowledge of relevant software programs. You should also demonstrate experience in Business Intelligence and analytics, with the ability to combine data from multiple sources for analysis and a high degree of analytical skills.The role may require occasional travel within Australia, not exceeding 10%. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of database management system (DBMS) physical implementation, including tables, joins, and SQL querying, along with a good working knowledge of Business Central (Nav).
