About the role Officeworks is seeking an experienced and passionate Digital Business Analyst to join our digital team to work on officeworks.com.au. In this role, you will be responsible for eliciting and analysing business requirements, designing customer-centric solutions, and driving the implementation of key strategic initiatives that align with our business objectives. You will play a critical role in shaping solutions that focus on creating an easy and engaging experience for our digital e-commerce platform as we continue to enhance its functionality and customer experience. As a Digital Business Analyst, you will work closely with product owners, UX/UI experts, technical teams and stakeholders across the organisation. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement, leveraging insights to ensure that customer and business needs are met with a focus on delivering value in an iterative and lean model. You will be engaged and responsible for guiding projects from the initial solution design through to successful delivery, ensuring continuous improvement along the way. Our Digital team works in a hybrid arrangement, with 2-3 days a week at our Chadstone support office. Some responsibilities include: Facilitating workshops, discovery sessions and interviews to elicit high-level and detailed project requirements. Defining project requirements in a standardised format, ensuring clarity and consistency. Utilising techniques such as MOSCOW and INVEST. Monitor project progress, track activities, and resolve issues, championing continuous improvement. Technical acumen to work closely with development teams to understand technical constraints, validate feasibility, and help identify solutions. Demonstrate a proactive "get it done" attitude, influencing outcomes and negotiating with stakeholders. About you Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree or above in IT, Business, eCommerce, or a related discipline. Business Analysis Certification (e.g. CBAP, PBA or similar) Experience: Working on customer facing .com websites in authenticated and non-authenticated environment. Working with data and insight tools, such as adobe and implementation and management of data layers. 3-5 years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst in product delivery. Experience in retail or digital product environment is highly desired. Hands-on experience in Agile frameworks and ability to think lean and deliver iteratively. Skills/Knowledge/Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistent delivery. Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. Ability to facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams. Ability to influence outcomes and negotiate with stakeholders. Technology Proficiency: JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams. Familiarity with Google/Adobe Analytics, Mural/Miro, or similar process documentation tools.
