Job Title: Observability Business Analyst Employment Type: Day Rate Contract Contract Duration: 6 Months Day Rate: $950 per day including super Location: Sydney, NSW

Talenza are supporting a valued client on a critical Business Analyst opportunity.
This role combines business analysis expertise with the technical demands of monitoring, analysing, and optimising performance across business processes, systems, applications, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities: Gather business and technical requirements for observability platforms and tools.Assist in setting up alerting and monitoring systems, ensuring they provide actionable insights into system performance, availability, and health.Analyse data from observability platforms to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in system performance.Recommend process improvements based on the findings from observability tools, such as reducing downtime, improving response time, or optimising resource usage.Work with DevOps, IT, and development teams to implement changes based on analysis and feedback.Provide input into the integration of monitoring tools with other platforms like incident management systems, performance management systems, or logging platforms.Support incident response teams in leveraging observability data to quickly detect and resolve issues. Technical Requirements: Knowledge of MS D365 platform integration and business operations (ERP, Sales, Marketing & Finance)Monitoring & Observability Tools: (ex: Azure Log Monitor, TIBCO Hawk etc.
)Cloud Technology (AWS & Azure)Incident Management (Service Now)Business Analysis & Reporting Tools (Power BI, Jira & Confluence) About You: Familiarity with observability concepts such as logs, metrics, and traces.Understanding of modern software development practices (e.g., microservices, cloud environments, containers, etc.)
and how they affect observability.Strong data analysis skills, able to make sense of large volumes of technical data and turn it into actionable insights.Ability to communicate complex technical issues in simple terms for non-technical stakeholders.
