If you're ready to start learning, growing, and making an impact with a career in fintech, we'd like to know: Are you FIS?About the Role:As a Product Owner, you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, Architects, etc., to design, build, implement, and test quality technical or functional solutions.What You Will Be Doing: Understand product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.Work with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories.Articulate product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams.Manage the backlog of user stories for one or more projects/features.Establish user story acceptance criteria, accept user stories, and refine stories with Scrum teams.Review and provide feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.Create Sprint Release Plans with input from development teams.Monitor development progress and provide updates to stakeholders as requested.Lead planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.Interact with product owners and product managers to define/translate requirements and modifications into product designs.Maintain and develop knowledge of treasury requirements and current regulations that apply to our current and prospective clients.What You Will Need:Knowledge of the financial services industry.Basic understanding of Payments (electronic fund transfer-EFT, payments), Gateway, and Cash Management.General IT knowledge; able to communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively.Strong communication and people skills.Strong work ethic, responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.A high degree of numeracy and a capacity for complex concepts.A team player who can also work independently under minimal supervision.Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines, and effectively prioritize concurrent tasks.Possess the desire to increase knowledge and skills when circumstances call for additional learning.Added Bonus If You Have:Background with Corporate treasury, finance knowledge, payment processing, or banking is a big plus.The Certified Scrum Product Owner professional certification is preferred.Experience in a SaaS environment.Experience with the agile development process.Extensive knowledge of ISO20022.Sound knowledge of SWIFT/MT/MX messaging and flows.Experience working with APIs (understand schema, principle, integration, and exceptions).What We Offer You:A career at FIS is more than just a job.
