Initial 6 month contract with potential for extensionDay rate up to $680 + Super depending on provided experienceHybrid working arrangement - WFH/OfficeOur client is after a Business Analyst with a focus in data analysis to join their Data Management team, which is at the forefront of driving data-driven decision making across the organisation.
About the Role As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Data Management strategy. You'll work closely with business partners to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and develop effective data solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
Eliciting and documenting business requirements for data discovery and classification capabilities.Collaborating with IT, Cybersecurity, Solution Architects, and business partners to determine optimal solutions.Facilitating workshops and creating business cases.Analysing data protection and data discovery maturity levels.Developing process models, business rules, operating models, workflows, and reporting.Communicating business requirements to delivery and development teams.Supporting the product owner in defining and prioritising the backlog.Conducting business impact assessments.To succeed in this role, you'll need: Experience with data discovery and data discovery related tools (e.g. Google DLP or similar tools).Experience assessing the group maturity for data protection and data discovery capabilities.A track record of successfully implementing data governance initiatives across large organisations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience working in an agile environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.A passion for data and best practice processes.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Aryan Eskandari via email ******.
