Additional information: • This role is temporary, full time 76 hours per/fortnight.
Temporary contract ends December 2025.
• The preferred location for the role is Service Office, Tempe, NSW, where hybrid working including a minimum of 3 days in the Service Office is required.

• This role will include supporting with tasks related to the Australian organisation & New Zealand project.
• As part of this role there may be requirement for you to travel to New Zealand and travel within Australia.
About this work area As Business Analyst your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Provide relevant, user-friendly business information, promoting standardised reporting and securing competence in the organisation to allow for analysis and understanding of performance and for making optimal decisions.
• Ensuring the Global and local reporting processes and tools are in place for IKEA New Zealand as part of the Business Navigation yearly financial framework reporting cycle in collaboration with the New Zealand and Country CFO team.
• Collaborate and co-create with the relevant business partners to secure the country yearly Business Navigation reporting cycle for the FY26 market operational financial framework, P&L and activation, within the required timeline using IKEA templates and tools as required.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks, and present them in an understandable and actionable manner.
• Be an ambassador for global business information solutions and common tools as well as the production of ad hoc reports when standard solutions are not available.
• Applies understanding of the goals, business priorities to follow through on commitments and achieve results in line with the IKEA vision and values.
As the Business Analyst you are or you have: • Energized by increasing customer value, driving business growth and contributing to overall success, continuously driving better performance.
• Good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide-ranging application in business context • Proven analytical skills combined with an ability to communicate figures in an understandable and inspiring way.
• An advanced level of Microsoft Excel & Power BI skills and knowledge.
• The ability to take in new information, compile, organise, analyse and make relevant conclusions from substantial amounts of data combined with strong and well proven collaboration skills.
• Motivated to develop new ways of working and implementing proven solutions for efficiency purpose as well as in data analysis, developing metrics and projections based on analysis results.
• Confident building relationships with diverse stakeholders, providing guidance, information and knowledge sharing.
• In-depth knowledge of IKEA business tools, processes and cycles.
• Knowledge of store operations and ways of working is advantageous.
