The Digital and Information Services Branch delivers agile and transformative information and technology, enabling council to be a leader in providing innovative and sustainable services to its communities.
Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will support Sunshine Coast Regional Council's IT project delivery by analysing the lifecycle of business systems, business relationships, and business processes.
You will provide analysis and technical advice to relevant Project Managers, focusing on Council's Asset management systems throughout their lifecycle from initiation, maintenance to disposal.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing business and systems analysis, which may include requirements and issue analysis, specification, and documentation of requirements for new systems or enhancements to current systems.Evaluating application software packages to ensure appropriateness and integration with Council's corporate systems.Facilitating sessions and workshops with key stakeholders across all relevant council business areas and project teams to ensure a clear understanding of current business practices and pain points.Updating and documenting relevant business process workflow maps to establish a baseline as relevant to the Asset Management Transformation Program scope.About You: As a requirement for this role, you will possess a degree in Information Technology, and/or have substantial proven relevant industry experience.
You will have demonstrated experience as a business analyst working with ICT systems and data, with the proven ability to positively engage with stakeholders to deliver results.
