Role Description:The Business Analyst position is a complex and solutions-focused opportunity within our Customer Projects & Enablement Team based at our Perth CBD offices.This is a 12-month max term contract.
The purpose of this role is to provide insights and recommended solutions to meet organisational goals and collaborate with stakeholders across Synergy to identify and define business needs and translate these into clear requirements, ensuring alignment between business goals, processes, and technical solutions.
Job Responsibilities:Investigates business circumstances and analyses problems to provide recommendations on potential opportunities for improvement.Follows agreed standards and applies appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements.
Provides constructive challenge to stakeholders as required.
Reviews requirements for errors and omissions.Works with the business and key stakeholders to prioritise requirements, categorising them into functional and technical requirements.
Documents the traceability of requirements to the business needs, performs business impact analysis while ensuring that the solution is compliant with relevant rules and regulations.Works with the developers to understand the different solution options and conducts a feasibility assessment including tangible cost benefits and the development of business cases.Defines and manages scope, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for change initiatives.
Provides knowledge transfer to business stakeholders to ensure clarity.What You Will Bring:3 years' experience in a Business Analyst position.Significant experience dealing with customers and/or business stakeholders, with strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as experience facilitating meetings and/or workshops.Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and identify root causes and opportunities.Experience using Salesforce system (preferred).Experience in the Utility Industry (preferred).What We Offer:Professional Development Opportunities.Purchased Annual Leave.Best practice parental leave.Click here for a full list of our benefits.
