The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Business by providing comprehensive financial reporting, cost accounting services, and strategic insights to facilitate informed decision-making.Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by providing insightful analysis and recommendationsDelivery financial reporting and cost accounting function through data collation and timely reportingProviding detailed management reports and cost analysis to internal stakeholders to enable effective review and understanding of operating costs and underlying cost drivers.Providing accounting services to the Site Business Unit ensuring statutory requirements are metPreparing End of Month Journals, Reconciliation and reviewProviding support to the stakeholders on system,Preparing annual budget, quarter forecasts with the respective business units for operational cost and capital cost.RequirementsMinimum of 4 - 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Management AccountantTertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or FinanceCompleted CPA, CA or equivalentsProficiency in SAP (S4 HANA Fiori) - advantageStrong knowledge of accounting practices, modelling mythologies, regulatory reporting standards and business planning/analysis.Working knowledge of budget framework and integrated financial systemsStrong Attention to details and time managementProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookRight to work in Australia.Ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation in the resolution of financial issuesDemonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote, and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentialityA team playerMining industry experience - desirable.Culture & BenefitsIf you are ready to step up to the challenges of this role, it can lead to greater opportunities for career growth and progression.
