About the Role:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and defining requirements from key clients, communicating them to stakeholders, and identifying changes to scope. You will work as a pivotal part of a project team responsible for implementing client requirements for internal products, systems, and services.
(This role will suit a client-focused Business Analyst with a consulting background and strong skills in data management, stakeholder management, and a waterfall mindset) Responsibilities: Meet with external clients and internal groups to gather and analyze requirements. Produce project artifacts compliant with the internal Project Framework. Develop Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) to communicate requirements to DEV QA & Deployment teams and agreed changes in scope to clients and internal teams. Work with the Project Manager to successfully deliver project scope, advising on the impact of any changes. Track requirements traceability from the Statement of Work or High-Level Job Brief through all stages of the project lifecycle. Work with the Test team during user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the client's requirements as defined in the FRS are delivered. Prepare user-facing materials and provide training and assistance to end-users as required. Ensure Project Management Office (PMO) policies and procedures are adhered to. Requirements: Qualifications in Computer Science, Business, or an associated discipline. Demonstrated business experience across SDLC, Business Analysis, Process re-engineering, BCP/DR planning, Quality Assurance (QA), and Risk Management. Sound understanding and experience with Waterfall delivery methods. Previous Software Implementation Projects experience. A ECBA or CCBA certification is highly regarded but not essential. Details: Salary: $120K - $130K + Super. Length: Permanent. Location: Sydney. Working rights: Australian PR or Australian Citizenship. Work Environment: 1-2 days in office per week.
