This position offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements, with an immediate start required.As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of a modern billing system within the energy sector. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure that the new system aligns with both business objectives and regulatory standards. Your expertise in the utilities sector will be essential in understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within this industry.Key Responsibilities:Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system implementation.Business Process Mapping: Analyze and map current processes and workflows to ensure the new billing system integrates seamlessly with existing operations.Stakeholder Management: Engage with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and operations teams, to ensure the project is delivered on time and meets business needs.Solution Design and Testing: Support the design and testing phases of the billing system implementation, ensuring that the solution meets the defined business requirements.Documentation and Reporting: Provide clear and detailed documentation, including business cases, requirements specifications, and progress reports to stakeholders.Change Management: Assist with the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of the new system across the organization.Required Experience and Skills:Extensive experience in the Utilities sector is essential. You will have a deep understanding of the energy industry, its challenges, and its regulatory environment.Billing system experience is highly preferred. Experience working on the implementation, upgrade, or optimization of billing systems within utilities or energy organizations will be highly regarded.Proven track record in business analysis, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and deliver effective solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to map business processes and identify areas for improvement.Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
