About the role: Are you a problem-solver who thrives on translating business needs into actionable solutions?
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Product Operations and Development team.
In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders to improve customer experiences, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the delivery of key projects that shape the future of energy in Australia.
What you can expect in the role: Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to define project objectives, capture detailed requirements, and conduct gap analyses.
Partner with the Project Lead to shape the end-to-end scope and requirements for new dashboards and processes.
Maintain high-level lean documentation for delivered functionality, ensuring clarity and usability for all stakeholders.
Translate business needs into detailed epics, stories, and tasks for cross-functional teams.
Provide ongoing support and clarifications to teams on business requirements and acceptance criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
Clearly define processes and ensure the business is ready to adopt new tools and dashboards effectively.
What we would like to see you bring: Strong experience with agile and iterative methodologies.
Ability to understand and translate complex business needs (requirements) into actionable technical requirements.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
A sharp eye for detail to ensure accuracy in requirements and documentation.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs, priorities and technologies.
Excellent stakeholder management with ability to manage wide variety of stakeholders (internal and external), understanding their needs, expectations, and concerns.
Expertise in analytical tools like Jira, Confluence, and Visio.
Demonstrated success in a similar role, showcasing the ability to manage and deliver business-driven solutions.
Preferred energy industry experience.
