Business Analyst – Strategic Asset Management | Utilities | Initial contract until December 2025 Our client, a respected organisation dedicated to serving remote communities, is working on pivotal projects within the utilities sector and is currently seeking a Business Analyst in Strategic Asset Management.
This role is a key component of their Operating Model Program, designed to enhance the organisation's strategic asset management capabilities.
In this role, you'll collaborate with the Stream Lead to drive the development and execution of project plans, process improvements and other initiatives central to establishing a strategic asset management framework.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes and systems, documenting insights and recommending improvements to enhance performance and support organisational goals.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the consistency and quality of processes, tools and standards within the asset management program.
Gather, analyse and interpret business data to generate actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Collaborate with the Change Manager and Implementation Lead to support change management, training and skill-building efforts across teams.
The role will be available to start in December 2024 and be offered as an initial contract until the end of December 2025 with a flexible WFH agreement.
There will also be a requirement to travel to Darwin with the rest of the team for 1 week every month, though all costs and allowances are covered.
The skills/experience needed will include but not be limited to: Proven experience in business process mapping, process improvement and stakeholder engagement within a complex organisation.
Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality process maps, user guides and presentations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence and work effectively with diverse teams.
Background in Asset Management or experience in a utility environment is highly desirable.
