Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport. The Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts, and oversee construction and other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

Reporting to the Manager, Program Delivery Office, your key accountabilities will include:
Leading workshops utilising Agile and Waterfall frameworks to gather and define business requirements encompassing functional and non-functional needs, exceptions, and business rules.Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with multiple stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements.Engaging in delivery of small to medium IT projects and reporting to align with project management office framework.Working closely with project managers, IT subject matter experts, and vendors to manage delivery of the organisation's IT Strategy initiatives.Leading requirements gathering and developing business cases, solution options, and formal documentation across all business and IT-led strategic initiatives.Maintaining effective communications across program and project workgroups and governance forums, providing status reports and guidance.Participating and leading in coordination of systems testing.Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions, maintaining effective stakeholder communications.Engaging with stakeholders across internal business groups to deliver strategic projects and business solutions.Supporting business transition projects and provisioning user testing, training, and support needs to enable change.Other duties as directed that are consistent with a position of this grade and skills requirement.This is a permanent, full-time role. You will work in a hybrid work model with access to a range of flexible working arrangements.
Minimum RequirementsExpertise in developing and implementing complex and innovative system solutions, with demonstrated experience in managing process analysis and process modelling, technical requirements analysis, and data mapping activities in an Agile software environment.
Excellent communication skills when initiating, maintaining, and influencing relationships with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Strong conceptual, analytical, and product management skills.
Extensive experience working in Agile projects and a thorough understanding of information and communications technology and its application to business.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and predict risks and issues.
Experience as a Business Analyst gathering requirements for data and analytics projects.
