We're currently seeking a passionate Business Analyst to join our Melbourne based team.
About the role The Business Analyst is our resident all-rounder, our problem solver, our information conduit who permeates through Discovery, Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of Movember systems and technology, and our design and systems thinker in delivering on the outcomes of Movember 's online campaign, our business processes and our technology.
You'll have the opportunity to Be our information conduit, ensure analysis, research and recommendations in relation to Movember 's technology systems and business process.
Act as a custodian of the team's backlog ensure it is complete, of high quality, and maintained continuously.
Facilitate the team's agile delivery process including story definition, backlog grooming, sprint planning, development, testing, and/or showcases.
Understand Movember's business landscapes and clearly articulating business needs from a varied group of stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into clear, concise, testable and accurate user stories & process flows.
Generate requirement and solution design documents, business process diagrams, data dictionaries, requirement analysis maps, user stories and use cases, interface specification documents, functional and non-functional specification documents.
Communicate any requirement dependencies, issues or risks identified through the analysis process.
Address any requirement questions or issues that arise during the delivery process.
Facilitate and participate in team ceremonies (e.g.
standups, estimation, retrospectives & iteration planning sessions).
As our resident all-rounder, collaborate with all roles within your product delivery team (Product, engineering, Design, Content, Delivery) and cross functional roles external to the team (Marketing, Insights, Evaluation) to ensure quality, on-time delivery towards Movember 's remarkable experience.
Provide guidance and support product direction on initiatives, align stakeholders and build shared understanding, and influence recommendations on product features.
Recommendation and contribute to continuous improvement, ways of working, tools and processes in the Business Analyst practice, and the wider TechMo team.
For this role, you'll need 3+ years' experience working in agile software delivery teams, ideally in large scale, sophisticated technology environments.
Experience with product ownership and development, working with senior stakeholders to articulate product roadmaps (ideally in the form of lean MVP's to prove product ideas).
Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or related disciplines.
An outstanding track record of business analysis, design, conceptualising, architecting and implementing software solutions.
Passion for customers and a desire to expand customer relationships.
Works well under pressure and to deadlines.
Good team player with excellent communication skills.
Attention to accuracy and detail, with strong organisational skills.
Innovative thinker who is adaptable and flexible.
Bonus points for Undergraduate or post graduate business qualification.
Demonstrated software testing skills, including website testing, API testing, IOS and/or Android app testing.
Demonstrated Agile delivery and/or project management skills managing new releases, updates and capacity planning.
Exposure to release / testing / change management workflows.
