As a Business Analyst in our Team, you'll play a key role in helping to collaborate with a multidisciplinary and evolving team to achieve our mission to build and embed a unified wholesale credit platform across ANZ.

What will your day look like? The Business Analyst is critical to bringing this to life and will be responsible for:
• Understanding the business context or setting, concepts, dynamics and needs and the impact of the proposed solution on the business
• Documenting scope, objectives, added value or benefit expectations supported by a set of analysis or modelling techniques and/or in collaboration with the Product Owner and relevant stakeholders
• Translating business needs and objectives into requirements supported by logical analysis
• Contributing to strategic planning by providing input based on evaluation of business needs and assessment of technical decisions
• Supporting the Product Owner by undertaking qualitative, quantitative and/or desktop research to determine actionable insights that can improve solutions, identify new opportunities, and develop high quality business solutions
• Developing and implementing test plans, and supporting user acceptance testing as required
• Providing support to the Product Owner for business readiness and implementation
To do this you will utilise innovative tools, techniques, and frameworks to drive delivery of scope, managing milestones and delivering to commitments within agreed timeframes.
What will you bring? To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• A can-do attitude and willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' with the team to get delivery across the line in a fast-paced environment.
You'll need to multi-task consistently and be highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.
• Experience in Wholesale banking particularly in Credit, Credit Risk or Research and Analysis including deep knowledge of domain products and services, processes, systems and networks
• Previous practical experience in managing requirements for large and complex initiatives, proficient in process mapping, requirements gathering and articulation, and documentation
• Strong communication skills to deliver messages effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage stakeholder expectations
• Strong collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
• Project management and delivery experience with a working understanding of Agile methodology.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Teams etc.).
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
