Your Role Act as a liaison between technical teams and business/end users, by translating technical terminology through simple oral and visual techniques and tools.
Deliver high-quality user stories, business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Define acceptance criteria and complete acceptance criteria testing/verification.
Triage and estimate business analysis and acceptance testing effort.
Elicit requirements and perform analysis of business processes, documenting as-is and future state business processes.
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to elicit analysis and validate business processes, systems, and requirements.
Assist Product Owner (PO) in translating business requirements into clear, concise, testable, and accurate user stories & process flows.
Assist PO in ensuring that requirements are understood through story kick-offs and constant communication using a variety of analysis and documentation techniques.
Assist PO in communicating any risks, assumptions, issues, or dependencies identified through the analysis process.
Contribute to the team's understanding and prioritization during planning meetings and retrospectives.
Participate in estimation sessions by describing the requirements and clarifying any questions raised.
Experiment with and develop new ways to present requirements and ideas.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders, teammates, and other people throughout the company; facilitate and participate in team stand-ups, retrospectives, and iteration planning sessions; communicate any requirement dependencies, issues, or risks identified through the analysis process.
Participate in vendor engagement and communicate and influence project stakeholders.
Pair with Product Owner to ensure challenges, prioritization, and project scope are managed.
Your Experience Demonstrated experience delivering BA and test artifacts aligned to BABOK and Agile methodologies with 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
Ability to work with dispersed and diverse agile technology teams to deliver continuous value for our customers.
Strong communicator and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills, proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Strong working knowledge of relevant delivery applications (i.e., Office suite, Jira/Confluence).
Experience using SQL to analyze data assets and data management systems.
Experience in the Data Product/Data Management/Data Governance space.
Strong level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead others successfully through cultural, process, system, and transformational change.
Industry certification in Agile and Business Analysis (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe, CBAP).
Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Information Technology.
