As a Business Analyst, you will work in specialist project teams on growth initiatives, pricing, customer experience, regulatory and compliance, and product and process improvements.
You will be required to provide direction to squad members and peers by collaborating across our business; identifying and initiating projects; driving the resolution of any issues that arise and holding themselves and the team accountable for results.
Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the Product and Development teams to help prioritise and manage requirements.Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and validate business processes, systems, and requirements.Work closely with CX and UX to ensure the solution delivers the best possible customer experience.Maintain the requirement repository with business rules and necessary process maps in Confluence.Create and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA.Present information using visualisation techniques (e.g., process map, journey map, personas).Provide support to Product and Tech at the discovery stage, such as creating hypotheses using lean canvas, product roadmap, high-level requirements/epics/features, and technical feasibility.Act as a liaison between technical teams and business teams/end-users by translating technical terminology through simple oral and visual techniques and tools.Collaborate with squad members to clarify requirements and validate the implementation.Support the requirements through development, testing, and implementation phases or sprints.Liaise with other squads and projects when cross-functional dependencies are identified.Liaise with external vendors who are delivering solution components through requirements, development, testing, and implementation.Ideally, we're looking for the following:Let's look at you:Business Analysis experience in a complex business domain, fintech, or fast-growing financial services.Experience working as a Waterfall and Agile Business Analyst in a cross-functional Digital squad.Understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery (Scrum and/or Kanban).Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Strong stakeholder management skills such as influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.Mental agility and a growth mindset.Experience using Confluence and JIRA.Knowledge of Process mapping using BPMN 2.0.Desirable:1-2 years Business Analysis experience.Credit Card and Loan Origination expertise.Some Financial Services / FinTech Industry experience preferred.Industry certification in Agile (e.g., SCRUM).Industry certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP).Sometimes the best candidates don't have 100% of what is listed above, but if you have most and are confident you'd be a good fit, we'd love to hear from you!
