We have recently changed our name from the Telethon Kids Institute, but we continue to achieve our vision of happy, healthy kids!Our new Strategic Plan Research Reimagined is a strategy that redefines the "who, what and how" of a research institute that is both agile and sustainable. Come and be a part of this exciting time in our organisation and help drive our new Strategic Plan as our new Business Analyst.This exciting role will see you be hands-on with project execution, data analysis and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across the organisation to assist our researchers to achieve their mission to improve the health, development and lives of children and young people.Reporting to the Chief of Staff and supported by the broader Office of the Executive Director, we are looking for a collaborator, critical thinker and analytical problem solver, who will help drive strategic initiatives across the Institute. Your main focus will entail the research and analysis of important trends and information relevant to our strategic direction to achieve our initiatives.Some other key focus areas include: Gather, analyse and interpret data to support project activities and decision-making processes.Utilise data to create functional specifications for solutions to support decision making.The provision of robust and compliant advice and support in relation to procurement contract reviews, negotiation and execution to ensure optimum outcomes are consistently achieved.Actively participate in the planning, execution and delivery of projects aligned with the strategic plan.Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress, performance metrics and outcomes.Establish and maintain internal/external stakeholder relationships through effective communication to develop new initiatives and ensure successful outcomes.About YouWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a Bachelor's level qualification who thrives under pressure whilst handling competing priorities. The key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following:1-3+ years working on projects at an organisational level with transformation focus.Experience in working across diverse workstreams and skill sets.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations to Leadership groups.Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.Experience working with different project and change methodologies such as Agile.We are committed to inclusion and diversity as part of the way we work and embrace the diverse career and life experiences of our staff.
