We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our Business Delivery Team within the Bupa Australian Defence Force (ADF) Health Services Business. You'll be supporting the delivery of both BAU and strategic projects in this team. This means you'll be at the heart of finding better ways to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world! The opportunity: In this role, you'll be working on multiple business initiatives with set timelines, and you'll need to provide high levels of quality while working in a fast-paced, complex environment. You'll be providing basic data analysis of large data sets, gathering information on business process flows, and leading team stand-up meetings to assist the Business Delivery team with the solution design. To be successful in this role, you'll need to: Have a minimum of 3-5years experience in a Business Analyst role.Be analytically minded with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data.This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract and can be based in Sydney or Melbourne. We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you'll have the flexibility to work from one of our offices in these locations or work from home. How will I help? You will add value by: Liaising with the sponsor and the wider ADF team to define, develop and document: scope, current and future state; options analysis; gap analysis; business requirements and user stories.Liaising with internal teams to prepare Functional Specifications that deliver agreed solutions to meet Business and Technology needs and standards.Co-ordinating and supporting testing of Technology solutions in preparation for signoff by Business sponsor.Facilitating and supporting Development and Testing as required.Take a lead role in Project Defect prioritisation and triage.Working with a change and communications manager / project team to develop and deliver people and process change, including support for training needs, and assist with other change management support activities.Working in a hybrid Agile / Waterfall environment.Developing personal internal networks and maintaining awareness of changes in operational processes & procedures across Bupa ADF HS.Anticipating business issues, challenges, and opportunities, develop new ideas to enhance business processes, and identify & realise benefits in deployment of Technology solutions.Other responsibilities as directed by the Reporting Manager.Why work at Bupa?
